Refund policy

Effective 13 September 2026.

Seven-day cooling-off

You may cancel your purchase for a full refund within seven days of paying, without giving a reason, provided you have not opened any lesson beyond the free sample. Opening a paid lesson is how you tell us to begin delivering the course, and the cooling-off right ends at that point, as the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act allows.

To cancel, email support@demo-provider.example from the address on your account with the invoice number from your receipt. We confirm the cancellation within two business days and issue the refund through PayFast to the payment method you used. PayFast and your bank may take up to ten business days to show it. Your access ends when the refund is issued.

After the cooling-off period, or once a lesson is opened

The course is a digital service delivered in full from the moment of purchase, so we do not offer refunds for change of mind after you have started. We will refund you if:

  • we withdraw the course permanently before your access term ends (pro rata for the unused term),
  • a fault on our side kept you out of the course for more than 14 consecutive days and we could not fix it, or
  • we change the terms of service in a way that affects your purchase and you tell us within the 14-day notice period that you do not accept the change (pro rata for the unused term).

Anything else is at our discretion. Ask at support@demo-provider.example; we read every request.

What is not refundable

  • The price difference if the course price changes after your purchase.
  • Access lost because your account was suspended for breaching the terms of service.
  • A purchase where the assessments were completed by someone other than the account holder.

Certificates

A refunded purchase earns no certificate. If a certificate was issued before a refund or a payment reversal, it is revoked and shows as revoked on the verification page.

This policy does not limit any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
